Gibbs Family Reunion is reserved for the Gibbs family and friends. Please contact us for more information to register.

Family camps are a wonderful opportunity for the whole family! Come enjoy fresh and healthy meals (that you didn’t have to cook!), leisure activities, engaged recreation, nightly board games, heartfelt chapel programs, and four activity periods filled with fun all over camp.

Cabins and lodge rooms are available as well as trailer hookups and space for tents.

2024 Family Camp Fees

  • Adults: $340
  • Children ages 4-13: $284
  • Children ages 0-3: FREE
Discounts
  • Early Bird: Receive $25 off for paying your account in full by June 1.
  • New York Conference Members: As members of the New York Conference, your family will receive $25 off your total fee!
  • Bring a Family: If you bring a family who has never been to Cherokee before, get $25 off your total fee!
Returned Checks & Credit Cards

There will be a $45 charge for returned checks. If paying by credit card, a 3% surcharge will be added to your balance.

Registration

Check in begins each Sunday at 2:00 p.m. If you arrive before lunch you may join in the noon meal by purchasing a meal ticket for $9.00 per person.

Checkout time is 9:00-10:00 a.m. on the last Sunday of camp week.

Acceptance

The camp administration reserves the right to reject an applicant and to send home any camper one whose influence is considered injurious to the best interest of the camp and/or campers.

Pet Policy

Absolutely no pets are allowed on the grounds at Camp Cherokee per requirement of the New York State Department of Health.

Camp Store Souvenirs

T-shirts, sweatshirts, and many other items can be purchased at the camp store. The camp store is located on the chapel porch and will be open after the chapel programs in the mornings and evenings each day (except Friday night).

Lost & Found

The camp is not responsible for lost or stolen articles. Lost and found is located on the camp office porch. Please label your clothing & personal belongings. Unclaimed items will be donated to charity after 3 months.
