Registration begins each Sunday at 2:00 p.m. If you arrive before lunch you may join in the noon meal by purchasing a meal ticket for $9.00.
Early financial registration is permitted if the driver is picking up/dropping off campers on the same day. The camper will still need to go through registration in order to sign up for classes.
Checkout time is 9:00-10:00 a.m. on the last Sunday of camp week. If the camper is leaving with someone other than a parent, written permission is needed.
Pre-Registration & Early Bird Discount:
Youth Camps Fees:
- $390 per child per week.
- For members of the New York Conference of Seventh-day Adventist Church $365.
Check with local Seventh-day Adventist Churches for kid’s camp sponsorships.
Family Camps Fees:
- Adults are $267
- Ages 4-13 are $223
- Ages 0-3 are free.
- New York Conference members will receive a $25 discount off the total cost for the family.
To expedite registration, a $25 discount will be given to all campers or families who pay their account in full for the week by June 1.
If after June 1, you may pay in full or the $100 non-refundable deposit to reserve your spot. Place each child’s name, camp, and date on your check.
There will be a $45 charge for returned checks. If paying by credit card, a 3% surcharge will be added to your balance.
Those who apply at least two weeks prior to a selected camp will receive written confirmation of acceptance and will have a reserved spot. Applications received less than two weeks prior to the desired camp will only be notified if space is not available.
Bring a New Camper and Save
If your camper brings a friend who has never been to Cherokee before, you get $15 off your camp cost! (Maximum discount $45).
There is also a $10 discount for additional family members and additional weeks. Family Campers who bring a new family will receive a $25 discount.
The camp administration reserves the right to reject an applicant and to send home any one whose influence is considered injurious to the best interest of the camp and/or campers.
Camp Store Souvenirs
T-shirts and many other items can be purchased at the camp store. Suggested camp store money is $20-$50. Campers are strongly urged to keep personal spending money in the “Camp Bank” for safety purposes. You may also include this amount in your camp fee check and specify its purpose.

Lost and Found
The camp is not responsible for lost or stolen articles. Unclaimed items will be donated to charity after 3 months. Make sure to mark all clothing.

Cell phones are not allowed at kid’s camp. If found, the cell phone will be held until departure. Camp Cherokee is not responsible for any held items.

We appreciate your interest in Camp Cherokee. You are invited to visit the camp any Sunday throughout the summer. Midweek visits are discouraged and should be made by prearrangement only. Should you desire to take a camper from the camp program, prior clearance must be made with the camp director. Meal price for drop-in visitors is $9.00. Overnight accommodations are not guaranteed.
